CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

Required Class Dates:  All class times will be after 10 am Sunday Mass, from about 11:00 – 1:15** unless otherwise noted. PARENT OR SPONSOR REQUIRED TO BE AT ALL CLASSES WITH STUDENT. This First Class (Sept 12) is REQUIRED of ALL first year students AND THEIR PARENTS to be able to participate in any of the remaining classes this year. September 12 9:30 – 12:30 p.m September 19 (Class followed by BBQ) October 10 October 17 November 21 December 12 January 23 January 30 February 13 – Final Prep Class for 2^nd & 3^rd year students March 20 March 27 April 17 April 24 Adoration/Prayer Group – Wednesdays THIS SUMMER: Steubenville – San Diego July 29-31 cost is about $250 per student

Teen Nights: To be held in Mater Dei Hall/Teen Room from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. All dates are Thursday nights: October 14 – Father Dan’s Celebration November 4 December 9 January 27 February 10 March 3 April 14 Other planned teen dates/projects: Rosary – Most Monday mornings - 7 a.m., Sept-April Movie Nights – various dates Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser – Nov 13 Caroling and Bowling - December 10 First Year Retreat Feb 23 & 24 3:30-8:30 p.m. Confirmation Retreat (2^nd & 3^rd Year Only) Feb 25 – 27 all weekend Reno Youth Rally – March 5 (cost $50) St. Patrick’s Day Dinner – Mar 12 Freshmen required to help at this Host one Friday Stations of the Cross During Lent Passion of the Christ – April 17, 3 p.m. Summer Trip – Hopefully Steubenville As weather and time allow, we would like to do some day trips/hikes, whatever as well.

**Class end times can be anywhere from 1 – 1:15 p.m. Class times were lengthened from last year to increase the time students are able to spend in break-out, small groups. Their ability to share with others in class is an important component of their confirmation progress and faith growth.
